I started a new contemporary portrait, and as many times before – at some point the progress of my painting captivates me. I love that raw stage : not a finished portrait but a lot of energy and potentials. And as always I experimenting with brushstrokes and new colors combinations.

Every summer I try to travel overseas to discover again how beautiful and multicolored the world and it’s people are. This year I went to France, Spain and Italy. I am back home now and need to go through a million of my photos: cities, vineyards, museums, monuments, crowds of people. So much inspiration in my heart. Some of those photos will become in some way my new paintings.

This Trompe l’Oeil I painted for upcoming International Salon 2022 in Bergen, Norway. It’s time to roll and pack my paintings and my brushes! Salon will be open for public in May 19- 22, 2022. It will be held at Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Bergen. Looking forward to reunite with my Salon friends and wonderful artists from all over the world!
