I have to add that it was my only painting in Art Deco style. Like many I admire Art Deco Architecture and art. To me they are always strong, romantic and elegant at the same time. That painting was exhibited at International Salon in New York City in 2017. Available.

Introducing portrait of Larry & Libby- my first completed in 2021 commission. After the reference photo was approved – I changes slightly dogs poses to make better composition, and I replaced a simple sofa on the photo with more elegant as my client wanted. I searched Internet for styles of sofas and was inspired. At the end I “created” my own- to be perfect in lines and colors for that portrait. I had to change dogs proportions also because on the photo they were slightly distorted probably cellphone was not hold straight when the photo was taken. Which reminds me that I should write a blog with recommendations on how to take better photos of your dogs, cats or any pets – as reference photo for the portrait painting.

I am beginning my first painting in 2021- commission of a portrait of two adorable dogs. This is just a beginning stage where I am defining shapes of the eyes and face of one of the dogs. Will post complete painting soon.
