Trompe l’Oeil illusions: Cherubs in frame. Detail

This photo is detail of one of my paintings. Frame looks dimensional but in reality it is just pained illusion . In this painting I wanted to reflect the magic of ballerina pose and her hands. And also I tried a different color pallet and style for me – less realistic. I left some parts of the painting not finished – to add a feeling of “magic” of painting when layers of brush strokes create illusion of volume and light. “Hands of Ballerina” .
