Just yesterday I finished that painting and posted it on facebook- “Bacchus and Lafitte ”. After a few hours on Facebook it got sold.
Contemporary Trompe l’Oeil on canvas. Inspirations for that painting were : statue of Bacchus and our last bottle of 1982 Lafitte. Great vintage.
New paintings 2020. In self-isolation
I combined on that image all my work so far in 2020 during self-isolation. 4 of these paintings are still available. As many businesses now are on hold – I also do not have new upcoming commissions. So I need to search for new ideas and inspirations. Painting helps to keep my spirit up. Not an easy time to everyone. Stay healthy and creative!

Louie. Portrait of French bulldog puppy
Just finished. Presenting portrait of Louie – absolutely adorable French bulldog puppy. Just finished. Sold.
As always with portraits of pets- I had several photos which helps me to study the character before I paint a portrait.

Painting progress. Venice. Self-isolation
Self-isolation – my work. Look back on 3 stages (of many) of one of my paintings I was working during quarantine. I always start with a general idea for the painting. But then it evolves and dictates to me the changes and choices I make in colors and correction to composition. You can see it clearly even just from 3 stages on that photo.

Stay well and healthy! As always I appreciate everyone of you for your likes and who follow my news and blogs.
