June 2025 – Reflection of life and the world. On my easel

I am asking myself – why did I have to paint it? Maybe because of turbulences we all experience in life, and in the world right now? I am feeling restless because of violence in the country and because of the wars in the world. Hoping for peace to be restored soon.
So I gave my new painting a temporary name – June 2025 – Reflection of life and the world.

International Salon 2025 Denmark. Vikings legends mural.

I recently came back from Denmark where I participated in International Salon show. One of our projects during 4 days of Salon show was live painting of that mural. Designed by Pascal Amblard, artist from France, after Viking Legends. Painted with him by several members of Salon . Loved being a part of that work and such talented group of artists!  I am posing here also a video I took of that mural.

My painting inspired by Goddes Idunn. Exhibited at International Salon Denmark 2025

My exhibition painting for Salon 2025 in Denmark . The theme of Salon- legends of the Vikings. My new painting was inspired by a legend about Goddess Idunn. She is best known for her magical apples that grant immortality. I wanted her to look strong but also with love.

Inspiration for my painting for Salon 2025, Denmark. Artist Tatiana Rugers

This year International Salon will start on May 7th in Horsens, Denmark. I adding final touches to my exhibition painting and promise to post Photos of it soon. But for now – what inspired me: this year Salon’s theme is “Legend of the Vikings”. I learned that one of Viking Goddesses was Idunn – goddess of youth and immortality and her magic apples. So, she was an inspiration for my painting.
