My recent Portrait- commission. Finished and delivered. On that image – original reference photo, my painting in progress and finished. Original photo was pretty dark , hard to see the faces and emotions. I asked for more photos so I could study and understand beauty and spirit of that couple better .
That portrait was commissioned by a groom as a surprise birthday gift for his bride. When she saw it she gasped. And she said that it was the best gift she ever had for her birthday.
Priceless. I think both of them created a very special memory.
